Remme History written by Dagny Hoffer

A few years ago Grandma Dagny Hoffer gave me a copy of a document she had typed up about her parents, Pedar Carl Remme and Hjordes Charlotte Arne Remme. I recently was cleaning some albums and found the document that I stuffed in an album for "safe keeping!" I think it is safer now that it is scanned and shared.

Enjoy!

Left to right: Aunt Norma Remme, Grandma Dagny Hoffer
and Aunt Lorraine Remme

Norma Remme died this past Saturday.
She was a very kind, generous and fun loving woman.
She recently bought Erik a Jonah and the Whale book
at a church craft fair. She told me at the
Remme Christmas party, "I saw this book
and I just had to get it! I was thinking
of what child I could give it to,
and I thought of Erik!"
We will miss her beauty and sweetness and
gentle laugh. We love you Aunt Norma.
We will miss you.
We're going to ask Aunt Myrtle and Grandma Dagny
to show you around heaven till you
get the lay of the land. -- Nora and Pedar
